Three Quarter Films is an independently formed film collective with one aim.

/

To challenge and celebrate a new wave of moving pictures.

The cinema landscape and its current state of growth is predominantly around the technical prowess of making films and the need for more representation in the industry. We want to add to this conversation through artistic expressions that explore and provoke the audience experience — all in the hopes to nurture new approaches to crafting films.

Three Quarter Films is run by Musashi Wakaki, a Japanese Australian writer, director and actor. He established this collaborative knowing how difficult it is to produce films with little to no support.

This space exists as a platform for filmmakers like himself to exhibit works and share the creative process we go through in the hopes to inspire each other’s artistic practice.
